After you install or update

Open TikTok → Profile → Edit profile and look for "Add background." If it's there, your account has the banner — pick an image and you're done. If it isn't, your account isn't on the allow-list yet; keeping the app updated is the only legitimate way to be ready when your wave arrives.

A warning that belongs on this page
